Latest updates to Companies House services

In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we’re closely following Public Health England guidelines. We have plans in place to maintain services for our customers and to protect the welfare of our employees.

Use our online services

We're experiencing delays in processing paper forms due to the impact of coronavirus (COVID-19).

Where possible, use our online services to help us process your information as quickly as possible.

For the small number of filings that do not currently have an online service - we’re urgently working on a service to upload your documents and make a payment where necessary.

We'll update you as soon as these solutions are available.

If your company cannot file accounts on time

Businesses can get a 3 month extension to file accounts with Companies House.

If you think the impact of COVID-19 will cause delays in filing your company accounts, you can apply for an automatic and immediate 3 month extension. You must apply before your filing deadline.
