The latest MCCIP rolling evidence update on climate change effects on coastal flooding has just been published.
This update has been led by Dr Ivan Haigh from the University of Southampton and highlights how losses from major events that exceed design standards are growing. It also presents preliminary results suggesting that the risk of compound flooding (from land and sea sources) is significantly underestimated now and into the future.
See below all key issues covered by this update, and the link to the full report.
