New evidence is now available on anthropogenic ocean acidification around the UK and Ireland, which is collated in the latest Rolling Evidence Update led by Dr Helen Findlay, from Plymouth Marine Laboratory.
This update highlights recent developments in estimating air-sea CO2 exchanges, pH trends in the North Atlantic and more localised observations in UK shelf sea. It also highlights the need to fund, maintain and build observational capacity and the need for model uncertainty to be reduced.
Find below the key issues covered and the link to MCCIP webpage, which includes a summary and a downloadable copy of the report.
