Early Years Attendance Survey – Please action today

Thank you for your continued assistance with this piece of work.

We are collecting Early Years Attendance once per week, until Wednesday 16th December. Then starting on Wednesday 6th January 2021 we will be collecting the attendance information fortnightly.

It is important that all providers complete this data return as we are required to submit the information to the Department for Education.

Please see the thank you letter from Minister Vicky Ford.

Christmas Winter Grant Scheme – lunches for children over the Christmas holiday period

The county council has committed to ensuring every benefits-eligible FSM young person is able to access a FSM meal for the 11 days over the Christmas holiday.

Cumbria County Council have extended this offer to include children who are in receipt of:

  • Funded 2 year old childcare, or
  • Early Years Pupil Premium

To do this the council has commissioned an e-voucher scheme from Wonde. The vouchers will have a value of £33 for each child and are fully funded by Cumbria County Council using Winter Grant monies.

To enable the vouchers to be passed onto eligible families we will be contacting you via email if you have funded 2 year old children or eligible Early Years Pupil Premium children, asking for your help to collect information to enable the vouchers to be issued to parents. You will receive an email from childrens.information@cumbria.gov.uk so please look out for it.

Thank you in advance for your support with this.
