Consultation: Cumbria Together - time for families of children aged 0 - 5 to have your say!

The past year has been unprecedented for all of us and we are keen to hear directly from families with young children about their lives and experiences during 2020.

A key element of the Cumbria Early Years strategy is listening to the views of families and communities, so we have launched the ‘Cumbria Together - time to have your say’ survey.

We want to hear from families of young children (aged 0 – 5 years) in order to help us to better plan to meet local family and community needs during 2021. Please help us to reach as many parents, carers and extended family members as possible.

Please share our short survey www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/FF7ZBJM using the attached flyer, and via social media:

Focus groups – invitation to take part

We are looking for settings who would like to host an online focus group of up to one hour maximum with a member of the Early Years team, in order to discuss the engagement questions in more depth. This would involve promoting this to your families using the template here (time and date to be agreed) – Early Years Engagement Invite.pdf

If you would like to volunteer to co-facilitate a focus group in December, please contact Karen Norman as soon as possible and we will help you to organise this – karen.norman@cumbria.gov.uk
