Cumbria Together – time for families to have their say!

The past year has been unprecedented for all of us and we are keen to hear directly from families with young children about their lives and experiences during 2020.

We will be launching a survey very soon called ‘Cumbria Together - time to have your say’ in order to learn from families of young children (aged 0 – 5 years); this will help us to better plan to meet local family and community needs during 2021.

Please look out for the survey (which will take 5 minutes to complete) on social media so that you can share it with your families.

Management of Suspected and Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 – resource pack for Childminders

Our Public Health team have produced a very comprehensive resource pack for Childminders in recognition of the unique needs of childminding and childcare settings that operate from domestic premises. This includes a flow chart of what to do when there is a confirmed case of COVID-19 within the setting.

Childminders Resource Pack

Group based PVI settings have already fed back that the flow chart they are using when managing a suspected case of COVID-19 has been very helpful. It is available here.
