IT'S NOT OK - County Lines Masterclasses 22 & 23 October 2020

ITS NOT OK

The first theme the IT’S NOT OK campaign is focusing on is Child Criminal Exploitation. To support professionals learning and development in this field we will be hosting two online masterclasses in October. Both masterclasses are being delivered by the County Lines Co-ordinator from the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit (NWROCU).

Understanding County Lines and How to Report Masterclass

Thursday 22nd October, 11am-12:15pm via MS Teams

Following attendance at this masterclass attendees will:

  • Understand what County Lines are.
  • Understand what some of the key indicators of County Lines are.
  • Understand what you can do to tackle County Lines Criminality.

Investigation and Safeguarding in County Lines Masterclass

Friday 23rd October, 11am-12:15pm via MS Teams

Following attendance at this online masterclass attendees will:

  • Understand how Modern Slavery crosses over into County Lines Criminality.
  • Understand the Section 45 Defence and your responsibilities as an investigator.
  • Understand the NRM process.
