In the 5 minute briefing last week we explained that the Early Help Assessment has been refreshed.
The refresh has taken into consideration Sign of Safety – and is live from September 1st 2020.
The refreshed Early Help Assessment is now Early Help Assessment - Signs of Wellbeing and Success (SWS). The guidance, supporting documents and Early Help pages on the CSCP website have been refreshed to reflect the changes.
A new package of training to support practitioners with the refreshed Early Help Assessment has been developed; the dates are below and here.
Along with the training for the refreshed Early Help Assessment SWS, training is available to explain the ethos of Signs of Well-being and Success. This training is a recorded session so you can access it at a time suitable to you and before you attend the Early Help Training. Details of how to access the Signs of Well-being and Success training is also available on the Early Help training page.
The SEND guidance has been updated in line with these changes and can be found here. This page will be live from September 1st 2020.
If you need any support, advice and guidance on Early Help please get in touch with one of the Early Help Officers all their details are below and available here.
