New risk assessment guidance issued

Dear Colleagues, We have now consulted with our Trade Union colleagues and are able to share the Local Authority guidance for shools and settings re-opening fully in September 2020.  The DfE guidance states that you are now required to review your existing COVID-19 risk assessment.

Most of the existing control measures you have already in place will still apply. These risk assessments must be reviewed and refreshed before schools and settings re open in September.  

If you have any questions or require additional support, please don’t hesitate to contact the Health and Safety team.

There will be a further communications update tomorrow, including details of the summer activities mapping that has been underway.
