In today's update:

Latest on risk assessments

dan barton

Dear Colleagues,

Following the government’s announcements last week it is clear that further work will be needed to ensure that risk assessments are fit for purpose ahead of September.

As ever, the County Council’s Health and Safety team have been proactive in responding to this. However, we take our duty to consult with Trade Unions in relation to Health and Safety matters seriously, and are therefore committed to releasing our amendments to the risk assessment process later this week.

In the event that your school or setting is County Council maintained, you must use the County Council Health and Safety guidance and risk assessment proforma materials, rather than from any other provider.

With thanks for your understanding at what I know is a highly pressurised time.
