Parents and Carers Themed Focus Sessions

You are warmly invited to attend our virtual Focus Sessions on the work completed on the SEND Written Statement of Action (WSOA) The Themed Focus Sessions for parents/carers replace the Meet the Director sessions and will take place the week commencing Monday 13 September 2021. The purpose will be to share our progress on the WSOA and to hear your feedback about the changes we have made. The sessions will be facilitated by the Theme Leads from Central Bedfordshire Council and Health, with representation from SNAP Parent Carer Forum. We have 6 spaces available per session which will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.  Additional sessions will be held as required. CAMHSTalk Podcasts

CAMHSTalk have 3 new podcasts available to listen to: Episode 28 – Transitions Discussion on why experiences like moving house or changing school can be challenging, with tools and advice that can be helpful. Episode 29 – The effects of COVID on welbeing.. Join the third and final instalment, looking at the effects of COVID 19 and lockdown restrictions on the wellbeing of young people Episode 30 – Digital diagnosis and neurodiversity Professionals, parents and young people across Bedfordshire and Luton have joined forces to utilise their expertise and collaborate in the development of a co-produced 'Diagnosis Support Pack' - a one stop place for information, support, guidance in multi media format in the lead up to, or following a diagnosis of a neurodiversity. In this podcast we discuss how, why and what the diagnosis support pack is all about and the journey that went in to its creation.

Fortnightly catch ups and support online and face-to-face.  A chance to speak to professionals from the CDC, Early Years Support Team, Speech and Language plus more.
