It's the big game tonight!

England are in the semi-final, with a final against Italy as the prize. But with cases of COVID-19 going up at a huge rate, don't miss out on the final by catching the virus or coming into contact with someone who has it.

If you are going out to watch the game or having friends round to yours, then don’t forget the COVID-19 safety guidance.

  • Winning or losing, avoid hugging it out
  • Maintain a good distance between each other
  • Try and watch the games outdoors or in well ventilated rooms
  • Wash or sanitise your hands frequently
  • Avoid sharing food and drinks

COVID-19 health advice

Grab a jab

Protect yourself and others by getting a jab

Local NHS vaccination centres are offering walk-in sessions for all adults. No booking is required. Full protection, with two doses, is important because the new variant spreads more easily.

It is vital that we continue to do all we can to control the infection. Despite the vaccination programme, if cases rise further the NHS could still see a significant surge in admissions.
