The PE Advisory Service, in collaboration with Living Sport hosted a very successful conference on 14 February in St Ives, focussing on Making PE Future Proof, and the legacy that well taught Physical Education can create.
104 teachers from across Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and beyond joined us, for a range of exciting workshops, a market place with over 20 stakeholders, and some thought provoking presentations. We were also privileged to welcome Max Whitlock, triple Olympic Gymnastics champion, who delivered a workshop, and engaged in a question and answer session for all delegates on the main stage.
A full report including images of the event, is available at Cambridgeshire PE and School Sport Conference

The Early Support pathway is for children from birth until the end of Reception year at primary school, who have a disability or significant and complex additional needs, and require ongoing specialist support from across education, health and care.
Schools can refer children by completing an Early Help Assessment in partnership with parents/carers. Referrals from reception age children transitioning into Year 1 in September are accepted until 1st May each year to enable support to be in place prior to the child being discharged. For more information please see SEND Information Hub (Local Offer) | Early Support (cambridgeshire.gov.uk).
