Preparing for adulthood is a time of important change for young people. For some, this could mean entering the world of work or leaving formal education; for others this might be starting a training course, furthering studies or even living away from home. For most, there will be an increased responsibility for managing their day-to-day lives, including their health and wellbeing.
Our ‘Getting Ready for Change’ (GR4C) Year 11 questionnaire is aimed at young people aged 15-16 and encourages them to consider some health-related topics to identify where they could benefit from support.
By completing the interactive digital questionnaire, they will be given a download summary of their answers, with individualised links to further information which they might find useful. They will also receive advice regarding where to access further help.
The questionnaire is anonymous and takes 10-15 minutes to complete. Young people will be asked to provide their home postcode and school attended. This information allows us to develop our service around the needs of the children and young people in our communities.

Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council are supporting the University of Cambridge with a study into the appetites of Primary School-aged children. To support this work we are kindly asking Primary Schools to forward this invitation to all parents to take part in a short (10- 15 minute) online survey led by the University of Cambridge. The findings will help health professionals to identify and support children with unusually high or low appetites and to create new guidance on healthy patterns of eating and weight gain. For more information and to take part, please see:
The PDPS is a register of Council-approved early years/childcare providers who are interested in operating from Council-owned premises. It will be used to advertise all upcoming opportunities including new premises, such as early years facilities within schools. If you missed out last time, do not worry - the next round will open in March! Applications can be submitted between 1st March – 29th March 2023. Details about the application process, and dates for virtual events will be released in February.
