We have had a number of queries about when will these be available. We are aware that the forecasts are helpful for budget planning and other purposes.
Our Business Intelligence Team, which produces the forecasts, has been under considerably more pressure than usual due to Covid related requests, which have priority and this has resulted in a delay. We should be in a position to send the forecasts to you by February half-term. We apologise for this delay but unfortunately this cannot be helped due to the current circumstances.

We’re seeking some additional primary headteachers to join the Schools Growth Funding Panel which considers applications from schools for growth funding in line with the criteria agreed annually by Cambridgeshire Schools Forum.
The panel meets virtually between 4 and 6 times (depending on the number of cases) between late March and early June and comprises LA officers from Place Planning and Education Finance services and also primary and secondary headteacher reps. Having a pool of heads means we can share out the meetings and also have the capacity to avoid any conflicts of interest.
The contribution of heads to this process is invaluable and it is important for heads who make applications to the panel to know that their peers are part of the decision making process.
Please contact Clare Buckingham at clare.buckingham@cambridgeshire.gov.uk if you are interested.
Mental health is about more than the absence of mental illness.
In this regular feature, some ideas to support and signpost will be shared in the hope that you may benefit or you may be able to help others.
Support
Based on the 10 Keys to Happier Living [www.actionforhappiness.org], a little and often approach to self-care and wellbeing may be more manageable, achievable and realistic for school staff. The next key in the series is Giving; give it a go by checking in with someone who you’ve not been in touch with for a while, and offering time for them to tell you how they are.
