The Workforce Development service needs your input so that you can influence the calendar of learning and development events for 2020/21
These events aim to build knowledge and skills of the Social Care workforce and we would like you to help by identifying training needs for yourselves and your staff
The following areas may be useful starting points for you:
- Any needs to support outcomes for individuals and keep people at the centre giving voice and control, preventative services i.e. linked the the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2016
- Any needs relating to Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016
- Induction and core skills e.g. Principles and values, well-being, safeguarding etc.
- Any dementia related training
- Legislative updates, e.g. Mental Capacity Act/Liberty protection Safeguards
- Leadership skills
- Any specialist training for your particular service
- Looked after children
- All Wales Induction Framework/New qualification framework
- Any other areas
