As part of Shop Local Week, the government is providing resources and support to small businesses to help them to engage local customers with the shopping experience in store and online.
This includes a toolkit, providing a digital content template with example messages, which businesses can use to help them engage with customers through their social media channels.

Eat Out, to Help Out Scheme
If you are an eligible hospitality business in Broxtowe and have not yet registered for inclusion to the Eat Out, to Help Out Scheme you should do so today!
How to register as a business
This is done via the government website and can be found by clicking the 'Register Now' button below.
Registration will remain open right up until the close of the scheme, which is 31st August 2020. Businesses are urged to register as soon as possible in order to capitalise.

The government are hosting webinar tomorrow, which will provide businesses with an overview of the scheme, including how the scheme works, eligible establishments, registering and making a claim and what happens after you’ve claimed.

Helping business stay COVID-19 secure
Businesses can access the latest re-opening guidance packs from government, which include tailored information on how those different business types must operate COVID-securely.

The Council's new Town Centre Information Officers will continue to visit businesses on the high street, to ensure businesses that have already re-opened are operating COVID-securely.
Business views for Borough's Recovery Plan needed
The Council is now seeking feedback from every businesses across the Borough, to better understand the needs of the business community in terms of commercial recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Please help us by completing the online version of the survey, so we can get your views in as quickly as possible.

to ensure the entire business community’s voice is heard.
