Grown Up In Brent

Everyone has an important story to tell about being young. With lockdown in place, remembering our past and sharing this with others can be an important act of connection.

The Museum of Youth Culture has created Grown Up In Britain a project which allows you to share your teenage stories and youth culture with those near to you and also with the wider world.

Have a look at the Grown Up In Britain activity pack for fun things to try at home.

You can also submit your story of Growing Up In Britain, or even in Brent, to the Museum for them to share.

If you're stuck for reading ideas check out #NationalShelfService, a daily YouTube broadcast of book recommendations from the UK's librarians.
