New Libraries App

The new Brent Libraries app is here!
It has lots of improvements from the old one including much easier access to our e-library directly through the app.
It's free to download and use. To find it search for London Libraries in the App or Play store (it's a red box called My Library App). Once you have it downloaded you have to sign in with your Brent Library card number and pin to access your account information and our library services.

Anyone currently using our old app will be prompted to update to the new one when you next open it up.

House of Life Exhibition

3 October 2019 to 16 February 2020, The Library at Willesden Green

Discover London's top Victorian Jewish Cemetery. In a little known corner of Willesden Green this burial ground has served London's Jews since 1873. It is due to open to the public in 2020.

The House of Life Exhibition invites you to learn about Jewish traditions and explore the rich history of Willesden. Visitors are introduced to the fascinating lives of some of the people buried in the cemetery and given a glimpse of the buildings that make up the landscape. The exhibition invites us to reflect on the people we have lost and how we like to remember them.

Presented by the United Synagogue in partnership with Brent Museum and Archives and supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
