Bracknell Library is hosting a party to celebrate on Friday 10th September.

The Worshipful the Mayor of the Borough of Bracknell Forest Councillor Ash Merry and Mayoress, Councillor Isabel Mattick will open the celebrations at 11am. Visitors are invited for refreshments 11am-1pm and visitors will also be able to look at a display on the library’s last 50 years.

Then at 3pm, bestselling crime and thriller author Peter James, writer of the much-loved Detective Superintendent Roy Grace series, will be chatting online, with visitors also able to watch in Bracknell Library.

The service is available for all customers who are already registered Open+ users. Customers can borrow, renew and return items, study, use the public PCs and Wi-Fi, or sit and read the paper.
