We look forward to welcoming you back
For your safety, and in line with Public Health England guidelines, all customers should wear a face mask and sanitise their hands before entering our buildings. We shall be controlling the number of people who can enter each library building at any one time.
All IT and study facilities will be cleaned by library staff after each use.
We shall also be continuing to quarantine all returned stock for 72 hours before it is made available to the public.
Services available
You will be able to browse and book a public PC and study tables, but at the present time, you shall be able to stay for up to one hour at a time maximum. We recommend that you book a PC or a study table in advance by telephoning one of the libraries. Due to space restrictions, not all branches will be able to offer study space immediately.
You can renew and return books and ask any enquiries at the desk, including memberships and bus passes.
Children's libraries are open, but picture and board books can only be borrowed in ready-made packs of 5 and not reserved.
