Library members can now download high quality comic books and graphic novels using the RBdigital website or RBdigital app.
- Over 1500 different comic books from publishers such as Marvel, Disney and IDW - find complete series, ongoing collections and stand-alone comic books.

Suitable for a range of ages with fantasy, manga, horror, science fiction and superheroes galore!
- Check out for 30 days, then renew or return. They won’t become overdue so you don’t have to worry about charges.
- There's no limit to the number of comics you can check out and you never have to worry about titles being unavailable and then being placed in a queue.
- When you check out you can also ask to be emailed when the next issue becomes available.

 If you already have an RBdigital account for use with our e-magazines and e-audio books then you can access the e-comics collection straightaway. If you're new to RBdigital, just create an account by entering your details and library card number. (For e+ cards beginning 633, please omit 633 and enter the remaining digits.)
We are inviting all 4-11 year olds to take part in the Digital Summer Reading Challenge and reading e-comics counts towards your summer reading. Sign up to the challenge here.
Since this year’s challenge is all about reading silly stories and having a laugh, young readers will enjoy these hilarious, plant-filled, zombie-zapping comics on the RBdigital app or RBdigital website.
It is recommended that parents supervise their children’s reading to check the comics are suitable for them. Go to the comic's 'Details' to check the rating (G, PG, PG-12, PG-13, 9+ and 12+).

Create your own Silly Squad Character
Draw your own Silly Squad character, then send us the picture of your drawing via email. Please include your child's name, age and contact details.
All children aged 3-12 years are welcome to join this Silly Squad drawing competition! Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 entries.

Are you ready to have fun during the summer holidays? Find ideas and instructions in these Boys' and Girls' Books, including how to make a water slide, fly a kite or shuffle cards like a pro if you're stuck inside. We are not sure you will ever need to know how to win a Nobel Prize or tame a lion, but they are included as well! Great entertainment for young and old.
