How e-books can benefit your child

E-books can encourage reluctant readers to enjoy reading

A National Literacy Trust's research found that children's reading ability improved as a result of using e-books - and the effect was particularly marked in boys. Once readers are more enthusiastic about reading using technology they also enjoy reading printed books more.

Book a one-to-one appointment with a friendly member of staff to find out how to download e-books, e-audiobooks, e-magazines and newspapers to your device.

  • Birch Hill Library - Monday 27th January, 2-5pm
