Bracknell Forest libraries

Libraries as community spaces

Libraries bring people together. We view our nine public libraries as community lounges - somewhere anyone can go to read, learn and meet other people. Bracknell Forest Libraries put on a constant stream of free or reasonably priced events, clubs and activities, some new and some established for the community to engage in. Why not find something to be part of?

Meet author- David Barker

Thursday 23rd May, 5.45pm at Bracknell Library

A few years ago Dave thought of a story and couldn’t let go, so he plotted, researched and finally started to write. His debut novel, Blue Gold, came out in May 2017, its sequel, Rose Gold, came out in May 2018 and the final part of the trilogy, White Gold, is due for release in May (always May!) 2019. A gripping trilogy and a fascinating speaker who is also a Chief Economist - just don't mention Brexit! An ideal talk for anyone into thrillers and/or writing and getting published.
