  1. We are open lots over the Christmas period! Mon 24 Dec - close at 1pm, Tues 25 Dec - closed, Wed 26 Dec - closed, Thurs 27 Dec to Sun 30 Dec - normal hours, Mon 31 December - close at 1pm, Tues 1 Jan 2019 – closed, Wed 2 Jan – normal hours.

  2. It might be cold out there, but our free digital library is always open. Download books and magazines anytime from the comfort of home.
  3. Children's activities during the build up to Christmas. See below!
  4. Enjoy some culture. Local author Robert Woods is visiting Crowthorne Library on Thursday 17th January 6pm-7pm. Tickets cost £3. Please book your place at Crowthorne Library by calling 01344 776431. 
  5. New year, new you! - start new hobbies, learn new skills, discover new things or meet new people by joining a library club near you. More about our events and activities including knitting, sewing colouring, chess, history, film, scrabble and book groups. 
  6. New year, new job! Join Bracknell Library's job club every Tuesday 9.30am-12pm for help with applying for jobs or producing a CV. You can also borrow library books for more advice or ask our friendly staff for help using a computer.
  7. Be healthy. We have a great selection of healthy eating and fitness books or check out our Tai Chi or meditation events in the library.
  8. Plan your holidays! We have a great range of travel books and maps to help you start planning your next holiday.
  9. Keep an eye out for details of a fun murder mystery event, written by Ann Cleeves, coming soon to Bracknell Library. Will you be able to deduce who the murderer is?
  10. Feeling down this winter? We will be launching a week of uplifting events starting on Blue Monday (21st Jan). Watch this space for more information...
