Bin collections continue as normal over Good Friday and Easter Monday. If your rubbish, recycling or green garden waste bin is due for collection on Friday or Monday, please place your bin out for collection as normal.
You can check your bin collection online anytime, why not ‘favourite’ the page to make it quicker to find.

At Easter you’ll inevitably find you have lots of cardboard boxes, plastic trays and foil wrap that have been keeping those yummy eggs protected. Once you’ve munched your way through the chocolate, all of this packaging can go into your orange lidded bin for recycling!
Remember to scrunch the foil into a ball and pop it into your orange lidded recycling bin. If the foil springs back open when you try to scrunch it, this means it’s laminated and should go in your black rubbish bin.
Some chocolate bar packaging or sweet wrappers cannot be recycled in the orange lidded bin. However, you can recycle items by taking them to a local supermarket and recycle along with plastic bags and other types of plastic wrapping. This includes the plastic wrap around hot cross buns, easter cakes and sweets.
