Join Jean as she talks about her new book “A Ration Book Childhood” and the much loved Brogan Family and Ration Book series. Award winning author Jean Fullerton is the author of many novels all based in and around East London where she was born.

Copies of Jean’s books will be available for purchase and signing.

Every page of every issue is full-text searchable — every headline, article, editorial, announcement, image and advertisement. A fantastic resource for anyone interested in history, politics, social and cultural history, family history, law, genealogy and criminology, business and so much more.

The Times Digital Archive is only available to library card holders.

We've come to the end of another busy and enjoyable Summer Reading Challenge, with 3,004 children joining and reading an incredible total of 41,462 books. 

Thank you to everyone who participated, and to the

26 Summer Reading Challenge Champions that collectively volunteered 502 hours of their time in libraries to help us deliver a very successful Challenge. We look forward to Summer 2020.
