Fun Palaces returns for a weekend of FREE activities celebrating culture and community. With challenges, crafts, demonstrations and workshops, led by local people for local people, there's something for everyone to enjoy with culture at the heart of our community.
The Higgins Bedford will be hosting modern calligraphy sessions with local artist Katie Allen and tea party poetry with Satwinder Kaur. Other highlights include Vox Pops challenges, activities for budding geologists, Victorian toys workshops, mixed media art sessions, cartography, board games, and a virtual reality orchestra.
Visitors to Fun Palaces will also get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming Dreams and Nightmares exhibition.
Some events will need to be booked in advance but there are plenty of drop in activities to take part in on the day. Visit The Higgins Bedford website to see what's on.
Alongside The Higgins Bedford, there will be events at John Bunyan Museum, Panacea Museum and Bedford Central Library. Keep an eye on their websites and social media pages for more information or download the Fun Palaces Brochure here: Fun Palaces Booklet.pdf
