Just over five years ago, Bedford Borough Council engaged Fusion Lifestyle to run its leisure centres. This saw Fusion Lifestyle take over management of six local leisure facilities; Bedford International Athletic Stadium, the John Bunyan Sports and Fitness, Mowsbury Golf and Squash Complex, Robinson Pools and Fitness, Kempston Pool and Oasis Pool, and two outdoor activity centres at Kempston and Blue Peris in Snowdonia.
In that time there has been major works and investment at a number of our local leisure facilities. These have included major works at both Robinson Pools and Fitness with a new gym and studios, alongside much improved changing rooms and cafeteria, and at John Bunyan Sports and Fitness with a new gym and soft play area built.
We want to know what you think; what do you like about our leisure facilities, and what do you think could improve? We want to make sure that we continue to meet the needs of local residents, helping people get fit and active in our Borough
The survey/consultation period is open from now until Friday 9th August 2019.
