Salary: £43,662 - £47,491 per annum

Hours: Full time, 37 hours    Contract: Fixed term for 18 months

Can you drive forward a vision for improving the delivery and coordination of ESOL advice in Bedford Borough?

This is an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic, influential and self-motivated individual to join Bedford Borough Council and set up a new ESOL Advice Service.

 

The ESOL Advice Service project will coordinate ESOL advice and maximise ESOL participation across Bedford Borough. The project is initially funded for 18 months, following an award to the Council from the English Language Coordination Fund.

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of the ESOL sector and experience of working with diverse, migrant and linguistic communities. Your excellent communication skills will help you to develop a vibrant English Language Partnership that will be respected by ESOL stakeholders and your ability to listen and influence will help this partnership inform the development of a successful and sustainable ESOL Advice Service.
