Project Lead (Intensive Careers Advice) - Bedford Borough Council

Hours: Part time, 20 hours per week

Salary: £33,799 - £36,876 pro rata per annum

Contract: Fixed term for 17 months

An exciting opportunity has become available to be part of a 17 month project to deliver intensive careers guidance interviews to selected students in secondary schools in Bedford Borough.

The aim of the project is to ensure that young people who are at risk of disengaging post-16 are given the adequate space and time needed to raise aspirations, increase motivation and fully understand the career opportunities available to them, by receiving ongoing, highly skilled guidance over the course of an academic year.

The Project Lead role will be responsible for leading on the project from start to finish and will work closely with the funding agency to ensure effective delivery of the project and assist them with using the project as a means of research.
