Come and join this year's Summer Reading Challenge - Space Chase

Join our space family, The Rockets, for a thrilling mission to track down books nabbed by mischievous aliens!

The Challenge starts on Saturday

13th July and finishes on Saturday 7th September. How many books will you read?

Star Gazing at Bedford Central Library

On Monday 22nd July, the Mark Rutherford School Planetarium will be at Bedford Central Library, come and experience stars and the planets.

Places are limited and you will need to book - either by visiting Bedford Central Library or phoning 01234 718178 between 11am and 4pm

Summer Events and Activities

There will be craft activities, lego clubs, games clubs and lots more taking place every day in libraries this Summer including making and decorating hats, Mardi Gras Face Masks, Space Chase glasses.

Special Events with Bedford College Students

Join Bedford College Students for some fabulous activities at Bedford Central Library.

Monday 29th July - Produce a Space Mural

Tuesday 30th July - Alien Junk Modelling

Monday 5th August - Cartoon Workshop

No need to book, just turn up between 11.15 am and 1.15 pm and join in the fun.
