Bromham Road Bridge partial closure on the 4 March

Network Rail to begin work on Monday 4 March

The partial closure of the A4280 over the bridge, will affect westbound traffic (those travelling eastbound into town will not be affected), so where possible drivers are asked to find alternative travel routes.

There's still time to Register to Vote!

Make sure that you can have your say in the local elections taking place on Thursday 2 May, by registering to vote before Friday 12 April. It's quick and easy to do, and will ensure that your vote is counted.

 

On 2nd May elections will be held for the Mayor of Bedford Borough, along with elections of all Borough Councillors. All Parish and Town Councils will also hold elections on 2 May. Click here to read more in the full edition of Borough Monthly.


Bawden 'Sahara' wallpaper now on sale

To coincide with the Edward Bawden: Home and Abroad exhibition at The Higgins Bedford, online company 'St Judes' has re-issued 'Sahara' Bawden's 1928 wallpaper.

Sahara joins three other wallpapers available to purchase.
