Crufts and Best In Show The biggest and best celebration of dogs returns to the NEC, 6 – 9 March. It’s a showstopping, dog shopping, fantastic family day out all under one woof!

Yonex All England Open Badminton Championships.  Watch the best players in the world battle it out on the badminton courts at the NIA, 4 – 9 March.

The Big Bang Fair at the NEC13 – 16 March.  The UK’s largest celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths for young people. Free to families who register to go at the weekend.

Still Walking Birmingham’s festival of walking is back for a week long programme of brand new walks around the city, 14 – 20 March.

Birmingham Cycle Revolution is here!  The big project, to make cycling a mainstream form of transport in Brum by 2023, is launching new initiatives including, improvements to canal towpaths and the introduction of safer cycle routes across the city.

Cultivating Culture – Local Arts in Birmingham – runs until 18 March and will take in more than fifty opportunities across the city aiming to raise the profile of the huge range of arts on offer in Birmingham.

Dates for second phase of the essential refurbishment work in the A38 tunnels confirmed. The St Chad’s and Queensway tunnels will be completely closed to all traffic from 10pm on 18 July until 6am on 1 September.

Exciting plans for the first major railway station to be developed in Birmingham for 100 years have been unveiled. A rebuild of historic Curzon Street, near Millennium Point, lies at the heart of ambitious HS2 plans.
