A34 Highways Improvement Scheme update
As we head toward the Games, successful A34 Highways work so far has included the removal of the Perry Barr flyover, a new bridge at the old Birchfield Island plus a new all-ways junction at the One Stop shopping centre. Ahead of substantial completion, one of the last remaining major pieces of work will involve carriageway resurfacing on the Birchfield Road (northbound) between Friday and Monday (May 13-16).
