We've launched our budget consultation for 2019+ and we want to know if we’re making the right choices for you and your family. Find out more and have your say


Meet your local councillor at one of the city’s Ward Forum meetings. The meetings focus on the issues important to people in their local area and all are welcome.


Cllr Kate Booth, Cabinet Member for Children’s Wellbeing, talks about the support given to help children with special educational needs get to school, as well as the challenges faced in keeping such a huge operation running.


Councillor Sharon Thompson, Cabinet Member for Homes and Neighbourhoods, will be joined by colleagues supporting St Basil’s charity at the Big Brum Sleepout on 30 November, raising funds and awareness for young homeless people in Birmingham. If you're concerned about someone sleeping rough, contact StreetLink.


With the temperature getting colder, you don’t want to be left feeling under the weather this winter. Look after yourself during the winter months.

Events

Frankfurt Market

 

The Frankfurt Christmas Market is back in the city until 23 December, from 10am-9pm daily.


The big wheel and ice rink will be at Eastside City Park from Saturday 17 November 2018 until Sunday 6 January 2019, between 10am and 10pm, except on Christmas Day.

Shoppers are being invited to meet some of the inspiring women who feature in Once Upon A Time In Birmingham: Women Who Dared To Dream, a book commissioned by Birmingham City Council to celebrate the centenary of some British women getting the vote. Head to Foyles book store in Grand Central on 22 November, from 6-8pm, and a special shopping event on 24 November, from 2-3pm, on the third floor, at Waterstones Birmingham.

Budget Consultation 2019+
