Please use our recycling banks responsibly

Shotgate recycling bank

Following the closure of the borough’s tips, public recycling banks are being used more frequently.

It’s great that people are continuing to recycle but please remember to do this responsibly by following social distancing guidelines of being two metres or more away from anybody else and using these facilities at sensible times during the day.

Using the recycling banks too early in the morning or late at night could disturb neighbouring residents. Please remember to not leave any waste on the floor around the recycling banks as this would be flytipping and could result a fine.

If you notice a full recycling bank please report it to recycling@basildon.gov.uk
