Angus Climate Week runs from the 26 September to the 2 October and is a week of FREE events led by communities, businesses, charities, and partnerships highlighting the many ways we all deliver climate action.
The Environment and Climate Change Team has worked with communities to pull together this exciting programme of walks, talks, activities, and educational sessions. Be inspired, make connections, and get involved.

Top marks for Carseburn
Carseburn Road, a care home service for young people in Forfar received top marks in supporting children and young people’s rights and wellbeing after an unannounced inspection by the Care Inspectorate in May 2022.

It's beginning to look a lot like...
..the Angus Toy Appeal! Referrals are starting earlier this year as the numbers are expected to increase. Email richardsl@angus.gov.uk or angustoyappeal@gmail.com for your copy now. Closing date is 21 November. Donation boxes will also go out in early October. A list of donation boxes can be found on the Facebook page. Get involved and help make a difference to a child this Christmas. I had to take my dog to the vet after he ate the Christmas decorations last year. He was fine - he just had a bad case of tinselitus.

Today marks the start of the autumn season with the autumn equinox as the night becomes longer than the day. And with Halloween less than a witches broom away, Brechin Castle celebrates the season with a month of pumpkin picking and spooktacular fun.
