 Township Arbor Day
The Woodlands’ annual Arbor Day Tree Giveaway is set for Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 9 a.m. to noon at Rob Fleming Park. The Woodlands celebrates its 48th year of giving away seedlings to residents, making it one of the longest-standing community traditions.
 Board of Directors Meeting
The Woodlands Township Board of Directors will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at 6 p.m. at 2801 Technology Forest Blvd. The meeting is open to the public to attend. For those unable to attend in person, the meeting will also be livestreamed online.
 Muddy Trails Bash
The annual Muddy Trails 5K, produced by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department, and sanctioned by USA Track and Field (USATF), will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024. The race features a chip-timed 5K trail run winding through the beautiful George Mitchell Nature Preserve, located on 1,800 acres adjacent to Rob Fleming Park in the Village of Creekside Park. The festive post-race party includes live zydeco music and the Muddy Bowl Crawfish Cook-Off.
 Neighborhood Services Announces Project 365
The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Services Department has launched Project 365 for 2024 -Set it, Don’t Forget It. Project 365 is an initiative that strives to redefine safety and security in our daily lives, with a focus on three crucial aspects – alarms for homes, cars and fire safety. This year, Project 365 introduces a set-it-and-don’t-forget-it approach to empower individuals with the knowledge and tools necessary to protect themselves and their properties, helping to create a stronger and more resilient community.
