From the CEO’s Desk: Strengthening Community Collaboration to Foster Innovation

Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area (WSRCA) continues to focus on making connections in each of our nine counties to promote and fully develop workforce opportunities in each location we serve. We held several more county meetings to hear directly from our community partners that are involved in workforce to better understand what is currently happening and how we can help strengthen those efforts. We were thrilled to be a part of a check signing event in Marble Falls for a High Demand Job Training Grant in conjunction with multiple EDC partners. We are also ramping up a popular Teacher Externship Program. This program is a great opportunity for Rural Capital Area educators to see practical applications for the subject matter they teach, to better prepare students for future careers. I hope everyone has a great summer.
