EAST TEXAS BIG EVENT BEAUTIFIES DOWNTOWN
The East Texas Big Event was Saturday, April 2, with over 100 students from TJC and UT Tyler volunteering their time to help with local service projects around Downtown. Students helped replant flowers and pick-up litter around Downtown as well as assisted with different projects for local businesses. This was the third year for the Downtown location of the East Texas Big Event.

FINAL WEEK FOR THE AZALEA AND SPRING FLOWER TRAIL
The Azalea & Spring Flower Trail is underway and Tyler’s bloomers are showing! There are several bushes in full bloom, and more ready to pop. Other blooms you can expect to see this weekend include daffodils, tulips, redbuds, dogwoods, and more. It is already peak season for dogwoods, and this will probably be your last chance to see tulips. The Trail continues until April 10, so now is the time to plan your trip.
