PUBLIC HEARINGS ON TEXRAIL, SEPT. 17

Trinity Metro TEXRail will be hosting two public hearings – on board the train – on Tuesday, Sept. 17, to notify riders about upcoming service changes in October. Representatives from Trinity Metro’s planning department will be on train 244 between North Richland Hills/Smithfield Station and Grapevine/Main Street Station (eastbound 1:12-1:26 p.m.) and train 245 between Grapevine/Main Street Station and North Richland Hills/Smithfield Station (westbound 1:50-2:03 p.m.) to provide information and answer questions. A third public hearing will be 5-6 p.m. Sept. 17 in the community room at Fort Worth Central Station.

The schedule change will include several modifications, including increasing frequency to 30 minutes around midday. When the new schedule begins, TEXRail trains will operate every 30 minutes across the 27-mile corridor from 4:13 a.m. to 6:43 p.m. (departure time from Fort Worth T&P Station). Additional service continues through the night with the last eastbound train arriving at DFW Airport Terminal B Station at 11:36 p.m. Service from the airport will begin at 5:10 a.m. and will continue with 30-minute frequency until 7:40 p.m. with the last westbound train leaving at 11:40 p.m. and arriving at Fort Worth T&P Station at 12:35 a.m.

REUNIONES PÚBLICAS EN TEXRAIL, EL 17 DE SEPTIEMBRE

El TEXRail de Trinity Metro organizará dos audiencias públicas (a bordo del tren) el martes 17 de septiembre para notificar a los pasajeros sobre los próximos cambios en el servicio en octubre. Representantes del departamento de planificación de Trinity Metro estarán en el tren 244 entre la estación North Richland Hills/Smithfield y la estación Grapevine/Main Street (hacia el este de 13:12 a 13:26 h) y en el tren 245 entre la estación Grapevine/Main Street y la estación North Richland Hills/Smithfield (hacia el oeste de 13:50 a 14:03 h) para brindar información y responder preguntas. Una tercera audiencia pública se llevará a cabo el 17 de septiembre de 17 a 18 h en la sala comunitaria de la estación central de Fort Worth.

El cambio de horario incluirá varias modificaciones, como el aumento de la frecuencia a 30 minutos alrededor del mediodía. Cuando comience el nuevo horario, los trenes de TEXRail operarán cada 30 minutos a lo largo del corredor de 27 millas desde las 4:13 a. m. hasta las 6:43 p. m.
