The world’s largest operating steam locomotive was built by Union Pacific Railroad and holds a place of immense significance in American railroad history. Introduced in the 1940s, it was designed to haul heavy freight loads across the challenging terrain of the American West.

 TEXRAIL DISRUPTION ON TUESDAY, OCT. 29
Trinity Metro TEXRail will have a partial service disruption beginning at 3 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, because of work being done for DART’s Silver Line project. Train service between Fort Worth T&P Station and Grapevine/Main Street Station will operate as usual. Bus transportation will be provided between Grapevine/Main Street Station and DFW Airport Terminal B Station. The bus will provide express service between those two stations and will not serve DFW Airport North Station.
