Generation 27 Application for Open-Enrollment Charter Update

The Generation 27 Open-Enrollment Charter Application is now available. Please visit the Charter School Applicants Page at https://tea.texas.gov/texas-schools/texas-schools-charter-schools/charter-school-applicants to select the appropriate application. Each page will include all necessary application materials and information specific to that application. The electronic version of the completed application must be submitted to TEA by 5:00 p.m. CST on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 to be eligible for review. In-person submissions will not be accepted. Additional information pertaining to the completion and submission process is available within the contents of the Request for Application (RFA). Additionally, two Application Information Sessions will be held virtually: Friday September 24, 2021, and Friday October 1, 2021. These sessions are held to provide additional information to applicants about procedures and general considerations for the application process. The attendance of at least one member of the applicant team is required. In addition, the board president must also attend if the applicant has already formed the sponsoring entity at the time of the session. Applicants must register online for at least one of the Applicant Information Sessions at https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_8j7SbMqBSkmC_NZDc-qKhg. Registrants will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining each webinar.
