Description
Each program under the 2020-2021 ESSA Consolidated Grant Application for Federal Funding has a program compliance report. All LEAs that applied for funding on their own, as fiscal agents or as members of shared services arrangements in the 2020-2021 grant year are required to complete applicable compliance reports. The reports are designed to collect data on program participation, expenditures, and program compliance. A sample of the compliance reports, instructions, and training videos are available on the Federal Program Compliance Division web page through the Division Resources section.
In an effort to reduce the reporting burden for LEAs during the pandemic, TEA has streamlined these reports for the 2020-2021 school year. Only items that are required in order to respond to federal reports have been retained for this year. This has resulted in the elimination two reports for 2020-2021: the PR3099—Private Nonprofit (PNP) Schools and the PR1200—Title I, Part C. Most of the program implementation questions have also been disabled for the 2020-2021 reports. It is anticipated that these reports and questions will be reinstated for the 2021-2022 reports.
Reporting Deadline
Reports are due via eGrants by September 30, 2021.
