Special Education TEA Guidance: Goals, Accommodations, and Modifications

A training video, Special Education TEA Guidance: Goals, Accommodations, and Modifications, is now available to view. The video is about 15 minutes long and comes directly from the Technical Assistance: IEP Development guidebook. The video and PDF of the power point presentation is available on the TEA website through the “TEA Recent Guidance” link as well as on TEA's YouTube channel.

Multiple Exceptionalities Multiple Needs (MEMN) Network Upcoming Webinar

MEMN is hosting a webinar titled, Exceptional Military-Connected Children: Unique Circumstances, Unique Needs, on December 1st from 1:30-2:30. Participants will learn the challenges unique to military-connected students with exceptionalities, strategies for supporting them as they transition from school to school, how to strengthen relationships with students and families, and the power of collaborative teamwork.

DataBook End of Life December 2020

Special Education Databook will no longer be available after mid December 2020. Databook consists of high-level, statewide reports providing three years of special education demographic and placement data. The TEA currently provides required special education datasets available through other online data systems
