Commissioner of Education Rules

 

The following rule action was filed with the Texas Register for publication in the June 12, 2020 issue:

 

Proposed Amendment to 19 TAC Chapter 97, Planning and Accountability, Subchapter AA, Accountability and Performance Monitoring, §97.1003, Local Accountability System

Summary: The proposed amendment would address the enforceable aspects of the local accountability system and remove the local accountability system manual from rule.

2019 Local Accountability System Manual proposed for repeal

Publication in the Texas Register: June 12, 2020

Public Comment Period: June 12, 2020-July 27, 2020. A form for submitting public comments is available on the proposed commissioner of education rules web page.

Proposed Effective Date: October 4, 2020
