TEA COVID-19 Superintendent call tomorrow CANCELED + P-EBT Online Application Open

Good afternoon from TEA! 

We have 3 important announcements: 

1. Tomorrow's TEA COVID-19 Superintendent Call is canceled. The next call will be on Thursday, June 4 at 3:00pm. Call-in information remains the same and is included below. In addition, last week's Summary Debrief is attached to this email and will be posted on our coronavirus website later today. 
2. The online application for the Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) is now open for eligible families at yourtexasbenefits.com/Learn/PEBT (URL is case-sensitive). The Texas Education Agency (TEA) requests that districts and open-enrollment charter school share the communication materials within the attached TAA letter with P-EBT eligible families during the month of June.The P-EBT application, which will be active through June 30, 2020. A P-EBT call center can be reached at 833-613-6220 to assist families in completing their application. Call center information is included in the June Letter to Families. Please review the “P-EBT Overview and Communications Toolkit” To the Administrator Addressed letter for additional information on the P-EBT program. All family outreach materials are available under Child Nutrition Guidance on the TEA Coronavirus (COVID-19) Support and Guidance website. 

3. The Department of Grant Compliance and Administration is offering training designed for Private Nonprofit (PNP) school officials and school districts who have not participated with equitable services in the past.
