New Process for Open-Enrollment Charter Schools to Request an Indirect Cost Rate:  Deadline is March 29, 2019

As described in the February 14, 2019 letter posted to the TEA Correspondence page, all open-enrollment charter schools are required to submit an online survey, Request for an Indirect Cost Rate for Charter Schools for 2019–2020, to let TEA know if they want an indirect cost rate issued for the 2019–2020 school year. This new online survey captures data collected in previous years in the spring submission of the SC5050 data collection form.

The deadline for submitting this required survey is March 29, 2019.

All open-enrollment charter schools are required to respond, regardless of whether or not they wish to have an indirect cost rate issued (the survey response options are “Yes” or “No”). By responding one way or the other, TEA can be sure that open-enrollment charter schools are aware of the new process for requesting a rate.

Survey Access

The Request for an Indirect Cost Rate for Charter Schools for 2019–2020 survey is available on the Indirect Cost Rates page of the TEA website and/or from any active link within this letter. It takes only a minute to complete the survey.
