This message communicates information concerning upcoming adjustments to the 2017-2018 ESSA Consolidated Federal Grant Application by the Texas Education Agency (TEA).

Final Amounts for 2017-2018 ESSA Consolidated Federal Grant

Final amounts for programs in the 2017-2018 ESSA Consolidated Federal Grant Application available on the Entitlements, Grants Administration Division web page have been updated due to revised Title I, Part A and Title II, Part A award amounts from USDE. Since this is past the amendment availability for the ESSA Consolidated Federal Grant application, the Agency will manually adjust budgets for grantees. TEA staff will initiate budget adjustments to the largest class/object code to incorporate the revised final amounts. If funds are not used, they will carry over into 2018-2019.

TEA will make available the ESSA Posted Entitlement Summaries for school year 2017-2018 in the GFFC Reports and Data Collections secure application.  Follow these steps to find your entitlement summary:

1. Log on to TEA Login (TEAL).
2. Select “GFFC Reports and Data Collections.”
3. Select your LEA’s name or county-district number (CDN).
4. From the Report Title drop-down menu, select “ESSA Posted Entitlement Summary”.
5. From the School Year drop-down menu, select “2017-2018”.
